What is Just Christmas?

An invitation to do Christmas differently.

Just Christmas is a chance to give generously in recognition of the gift of life we have been given through Jesus.

Since 2009, we’ve raised over £320k for projects both locally and internationally. Your extraordinary generosity has supported projects all over the world such as schools, health centres and community projects, as well as donating food hampers, joggers and thousands of items of underwear to people experiencing poverty in our city.

Help us raise £20k to give away.

This Christmas we are hoping to raise £20,000 to support the work of Shared Hope, one of our partner charities, who seek to meet the needs of those in extreme poverty around the world.

They attempt in all they do to promote independence and sustainability. To this end they seek to be a conduit between those who have a heart to give financially and those who have a heart to serve within the communities where they live. 

We also plan to give £1,000 towards Edinburgh City Mission’s Salaam project’s New Scots Christmas appeal. They provide Christmas hampers to recently arrived New Scots coming from a huge variety of circumstances and countries as a symbol of welcome, love and solidarity.
